WHAT DO YOU HAVE

*WHAT DO YOU HAVE?*

I first heard this statement when i was a child, "use what you have to get what you want"

As I ponder over that statement I would love to re state it this way.  "USE WHAT YOU HAVE TO GET WHAT YOU NEED". Why? Because, Human wants are insatiable. With this new statement in mind, the following facts came to light.

FACT#1: Every body has something.
That includes the poorest man who believes he has nothing, forgetting he has life, good health and if included what to eat.

FACT#2: What you have is valuable.
Do not refer to what you have as nothing because "nothing is useless". I mean what you have will either appreciate or depreciate depending on how you see it and how you treat it.

FACT#3: What you have is marketable.
Listen, no body has everything and no body needs everything but everybody needs something and everybody will pay for what they need; rich or poor.

FACT#4: What you have is usable.
A wise man once said "God gave us brain, so that we will not give Him head ache". In your head is your brain, use it, think, think and think. Nothing is useless to everyone, everywhere. Do you know, that what some people regard as useless old cars and old clothes in Europe, is big business in Africa? If out of waste  people are in big business, what are you doing?

FACT#5: Every body needs something.
Like I said in "FACT#3", every body may not be able to afford what they want, but "everybody will pay for what they need" even the poor will pay also.

Come to think of it, if the poor truly has nothing as they think, how come they are still alive; even giving birth to more children than the rich? (smiles...)

If really they have nothing, they shouldn't be able to afford to buy, cook and eat,
Don't get me wrong, I agree that many are really poor, either as a result of wars,  natural disasters, disease etc. And these people deserve to be assisted in every way possible.

But I also say, there are those who are poor, who should not be, but they are because, they do regard what they have with a sense of positive value.
