LEADERSHIP.(Part 1)


A subject so wide with too many descriptions.

Trapped inside every follower is a Leader.

 According to Dr Myles Munroe of Blessed Memory who said " Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration generated by a passion, motivated by a vision birth by a convinction which is produced by desire.

Your titled does not make you a leader, your position doesn't make you a leader, being voted in political position or office does not make you  a leader.

Leaders are people who are trained or being mentored by someone already occupying the position they desire to occupy.

Mind you if you are not trained to lead and if you happen to be appointed, it could expose your weakness.

FOUR ROLES OF LEADERSHIP.

* Passion to inspire others to a noble cause.

* To Influence people to move from the known to the unknown(Discovery).

* To give concrete Hope to people.

* To motivate and Energize people.

Note: leadership is not about maintaining followers but by producing leaders.

                       DRIVE Every man's life is driven by something.   Drive describes what guides, control and direct your life.  There must be something that drives your life. Some people are driven by Material possession, trying and working to acquire what their friends has gotten, believing that getting those things will make them happy.  According to Rick Warren who said Possessions only provides temporary happiness, because things donot change, we only become bored with them and then want newer, bigger and better versions.
